RADIANT FLOOR HEATING
Radiant floor heating is a superior method of heating your home.
Hydronic systems are the most popular and cost-effective. Hot water is pumped from a boiler through polyethylene tubing underneath the floor.
The temperature in each room is controlled by regulating the flow of hot water through each loop of tubing, using a series of thermostats and zoning valves. Radiant energy transfer is caused by a warm surface giving up its heat to a cooler surface.
Once installed, the floor is then filled and you can install any kind of flooring you would normally install over concrete floors. We can also install under standard wood truss homes.
Here are some of the benefits:
Radiant Heat is the most efficient heating system. Radiant floor heat costs less to heat your home than any other type of heating system.
A healthier home forced air systems can spread dust, pollen, and germs. Also, radiant heat is less likely to dry out your breathing passages and skin.
Even, quiet warmth: even with wood, tile, or uncovered concrete floors.
Silent operation No hum or whistle of a forced air systems.
With radiant heat, you can zone different areas of your home to different temperatures to fit your lifestyle, unlike central heating and air.
If you're getting ready to design or build a new home now is the time to investigate the benefits of a radiant heating system.
